Really enjoyed the guest speakers, they were very insightful, good speakers and came from different schools of delivery. It was a lot of organising on Andy's half and we are grateful.

Attended 'Cooking with Confidence - Part 1'
I did the Essentials Course and it was brilliantly run and covered a vast range of topics and skills. As a result of studying at Leiths, I got work experience in a few restaurants, as a food styling assistant on Olive Magazine and as a runner on Saturday Kitchen. Importantly, it gave me the confidence to start food and recipe writing, which I’ve since done for various sites and magazines.
It was really helpful having all of the ingredients weighed out in advance and having kitchen staff helping by washing up and putting our food in the oven and taking it out. This meant that we didn't waste any time and could focus on the patisserie techniques.
It was very helpful to be taught by a chef with personal gluten free experience as she could answer our many questions.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the course and meeting the other students. I have already been recommending Leiths to others.
