Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed was winner of the prestigious BBC MasterChef UK competition in 2017. She has gone on to win ‘Best Chef’ at the British Restaurant Awards in 2018 and has written a bestselling debut cookbook ‘Khazana’ which celebrates the opulent food history and culinary delights of the Mughal Empire.

The delightful flavour pairings of saffron and rose jam, nutmeg, pungent chilli, dried fruits and nuts, fragrant barberries and rice are all celebrated in her cookery class which offers not just delicious food, but a glimpse into an exotic Indo-Persian past.

Saliha is also an NHS doctor training to specialise in Gastroenterology, with a focus on the treatment of Digestive disorders.
