Our Accredited cookery courses are professional practical cookery qualifications written by Leiths and accredited by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). Accredited Cookery Courses
Leiths Academy offers two professional culinary qualifications accredited by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). These qualifications develop core culinary skills and instill a lifelong love of cooking but also teach a wide range of transferable skills from fine motor skills to organisation and timekeeping. Students who complete the Level 3 course are also well on their way to a fulfilling career in the food industry.

An innovative ‘cook-along’ approach to teaching cookery.
This adaptable and flexible digital cookery resource is suitable for a wide range of schools, scenarios and settings, particularly where there are no cooking facilities or a specialist cookery teacher. Suitable for KS3 cookery lessons, cookery clubs and Duke of Edinburgh Skills; PSHE cookery, end of term activities and transition sessions.
Leiths Academy Portal
Leiths Academy cookery courses sit within our interactive digital portal which has been purpose-built for Leiths Academy. It allows easy access to all teacher and student resources including a wide range of skills videos for viewing in or out of the classroom.
Students and teachers can access the portal securely via their phone, tablet or computer to record photo evidence and weekly evaluations as well as complete their coursework. A unique colour coded student tracker monitors weekly progress, which is an invaluable teacher resource for parents’ meetings and report writing.
