The Yard is a rural cafe and events space set in the beautiful countryside surrounding Chilton Manor Farm in Hampshire. Currently looking for a lead chef to work full time in a small, friendly team. You will have full creative control over a fresh, seasonal, simple menu.
Hours: 40-45/week, Weds-Sun, sociable hours

The Yard is also looking for a dynamic & experienced person as café manager. The manager will play a crucial role in maintaining & growing the Yard’s popularity and reputation as a unique & excellent rural destination café, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the café’s success. Responsibilities include:
Managing day to day operations: staff scheduling/overseeing cleanliness & appearance
Staff management: hiring, onboarding & training
Financial management: ordering & inventory, keeping financial records, striving for efficient workflow & cost management
Customer service: nurturing friendly relationships, delivering excellent customer service
Menu & innovation: working to keep the menu seasonal & local & willing to innovate & implement new systems quickly if required
Available to work Thurs-Sun 9am-5pm, plus bank holidays
Full time role (40 hours/week)
