D of E Course Leader required for 3 weeks from 12th August on Kenton Hall Estate in Suffolk. Full board (accommodation and 3 meals per day Monday-Friday). Weekend accommodation is unfortunately not available.
Kenton Hall Estate delivers Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential Courses for ages 16+ for 16 students on each course. All students stay in the glamping site on the farm and the course includes cookery within the on-site cookery school as well as activities on the farm.
You will be an organiser and safeguarder who will help run a fun and engaging course. You will typically work the following hours:
8am - ensure students are up
8.30am - breakfast - set up for and clear down
9.30am - Cookery session - ensure all students are in attendance
12.30pm - lunch set up (students will prepare their lunch in the cookery session)
1pm - lunch
2pm-4pm - afternoon activity
Dinner - students will help with cooking
Evening activity - you will be required to host an evening activity for the group which is likely to finish between 8.30-9pm
