Doggart & Squash was born from co-founders Clare and Sarah's shared passion for distinctive and creative event design and planning as well as seasonal and locally sourced food.  The team works with both private and corporate clients, tailoring the menus across a range of events, bringing ideas to life and working with high-quality suppliers alongside a passionate, knowledgeable, hands-on and hard-working team.

The approach is flexible and personable with sustainability at the forefront of decision making.

Currently looking to grow the team ahead of the 2024 season.

The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, event preparation and assisting the senior kitchen team with ordering, auditing and menu development.  The role will also involve initially assisting in the management of event kitchens but will rapidly develop into the candidate managing events of their own - overseeing small teams of freelance chefs to deliver high-end food at bespoke events.

The successful candidate will be positive, creative and organised, previous experience in the world of events is essential.  The company is non-hierarchical and so believes it is a great place for a new graduate to get a unique experience of events and the catering industry.

Employed Permanent, fulltime

Professional culinary qualification preferred

Location: Herne Hill/Loughborough Junction, London

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (flexibility is required); Monday - Friday (Saturday working required but days given off in lieu)

Salary: competitive, doe
