It\u2019s a seemingly simple Bundt but that\u2019s precisely where the joy is found. Easy to make, easy to enjoy. There\u2019s something very satisfying in the simple flavour combination, and by brushing the Bundt with butter and cinnamon sugar at the end it delivers unerring comfort.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5548cc8 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5548cc8\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-330ed23 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"330ed23\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b1ddfd6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b1ddfd6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ingredients<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-32df74b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"32df74b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>For the 6-cup Anniversary Bundt\u00ae pan:<\/strong><br \/>15g (1 tbsp\/\u00bdoz) butter<br \/>15g (1 tbsp\/\u00bdoz) plain flour<\/p><p><strong>For the cake:<\/strong><br \/>115g (1\/2 cup\/4oz) unsalted butter, softened<br \/>140g (3\/4 cup\/43\/4oz) golden caster sugar<br \/>2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>1 tsp ground cinnamon<br \/>A pinch of salt 115g<br \/>(1 cup\/4oz) self-raising flour<br \/>50ml (1\/4 cup\/13\/4fl oz) buttermilk<\/p><p><strong>To finish:<\/strong><br \/>50g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted<br \/>75g (5 tbsp\/1\/3 cup\/2\u00beoz) golden caster sugar<br \/>1 tbsp ground cinnamon<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ea5109 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"2ea5109\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c2da545 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c2da545\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Instructions<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c60174d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c60174d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>Preheat your oven to 160\u00b0C fan\/180\u00b0C\/350\u00b0F\/gas 4.<\/li><li>Melt the butter, then use a pastry brush to brush it evenly over the inside of a 6-cup Anniversary Bundt\u00ae pan, being careful to get into every nook and cranny. I find it easier to brush from the base up to prevent any butter pooling. Sift over the flour, moving the pan from side to side to coat it evenly. Turn it upside down and give it a final tap to remove any excess, then set aside.<\/li><li>Place the butter and sugar in a large bowl and mix with hand-held electric beaters until pale and fluffy. Add the lightly beaten eggs, one at time, mixing to combine before adding another. Add the vanilla and mix briefly to combine. Add a third of the flour and mix briefly, then add half of the buttermilk and mix. Repeat again and end with the final third of flour. Mix until just combined and smooth. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25\u201330 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean and the cake springs back to a light touch. Leave to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10\u201315 minutes so the air can circulate, then invert onto the wire rack.<\/li><li>While the Bundt is still warm, use a pastry brush to brush the entire outside with melted butter. Combine the sugar and cinnamon on a plate, then roll the Bundt gently in the sugar. Sprinkle or spoon the remaining sugar over generously to cover the whole Bundt.<\/li><li>Serve warm.
