Great food photography has the power to tell stories. Join seasoned food photographer Charlie Richards for this two-day photography workshop and learn how to produce showstopping food shots from set up through to edit.
Designed for those using a professional camera, this is course is a comprehensive, deep dive into the technical aspects of food photography. You’ll cover camera basics including aperture, shutter speed and ISO as well as lighting, composition, styling techniques and post-production edit. Throughout the two days, you’ll have plenty of time to put your learning into practice as you curate and photograph different foods and set ups, experimenting with different lighting and textures.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a well-rounded knowledge of food photography and some beautiful food shots for your portfolio.
This course is suitable for anyone with a digital camera and laptop with Photoshop Elements 11 or equivalent picture editing software.
