La Follia is a small slice of Italy - a 24 cover cafe situated in the heart of the village of South Harting, West Sussex - ten minutes from Petersfield and twenty minutes from Chichester.  The cafe serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and coffee and holds a pop-up supper twice and month and some private evening events.

The food is authentically Italian - simple and flavoursome.  Every crostini, bruschetta, small plate or warming bowl is made with great attention and recently received a 5* review from Tom Parker Bowles in YOU magazine.  The cafe sits within Lamb & Newt - a lifestyle antique and vintage shop.

The owner is looking for an exciting, hands-on Head Chef to take on what has been created and add their own touch of magic.  The team is small and friendly and works together as a family.  You will be in charge of menu building, cooking for service and evening events; all food prep and ingredients stock control, supplier contact and ordering.

Hours: 34 per week, plus evening events - 8.30am - 4.30pm service; 1 day prep; 2 evenings per month

Work Days: Tuesday - Sunday (not necessarily every day)

Pay: £18-22 per hour plus tips and bonus

There is also an opportunity for a part-time chef role.
