Nestled in the heart of Chelsea, World’s End Café is a charming, community-driven café attached to World’s End Studios — home to a vibrant mix of boutique creative firms. Just minutes from Imperial Wharf Station, the café celebrates seasonal ingredients and fresh, light dishes inspired by the South of France. From breakfast to lunch, our menu features beautifully prepared plates — think wholesome breakfasts, vibrant salads, nourishing stews, and comforting soups.
The cafe also host events and takes pride in creating a warm, creative, and collaborative atmosphere for both our guests and our team.
The Role
Looking for a Head Chef to join the small, talented kitchen team. Working closely with our Co–Head Chef (Leiths Alumni), you’ll bring energy, creativity, and care to every dish.
This role is hands-on and creative, perfect for someone who loves working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and takes pride in both flavour and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Friday kitchen operations from 7:30am – 2:00pm
- Food preparation for breakfast and lunch service
- Collaborate on menus and contribute creative seasonal ideas
- Work in tandem with our Co–Head Chef to ensure smooth transitions between shifts
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, health, and food safety
- Conduct daily health & safety and hygiene checks
- Order supplies and ingredients as needed, maintaining stock control
- Leave the kitchen fully prepped and set for the following week’s service
- Support occasional events and special menus
About You
- Experienced chef with a background in fresh, seasonal cooking
- Passionate about Mediterranean / South of France-style cuisine
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and health & safety
- Reliable, organised, and a great communicator
- Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Enthusiastic, creative, and community-minded
