The Leiths Confident Cookery course (LCC30) equips students with practical cooking techniques, food science, nutrition, healthy eating, menu planning, time management, and recipe development. Delivered over one academic year, this comprehensive curriculum is designed to inspire confidence in the kitchen and spark interest in food and hospitality careers, all tailored to suit international contexts. Participation is entirely free throughout the pilot in return for student and staff engagement, feedback, visual evidence and case study testimonials.

Commitments from Participating Schools

  • Deliver the LCC30 International curriculum from September 2026 to July 2027.
  • Complete feedback surveys at three intervals (start, midpoint, conclusion) to help refine the programme.
  • Provide safeguarding-compliant visual content for marketing and PR.
  • Appoint a dedicated cookery lead for smooth communication.
  • Follow technical advice on equipment, digital platform compatibility, and staff-to-student ratios.
