About This Course

Sound off your study of the online Essential Bread and Patisserie course with Leiths Online Cookery School and gain your professional accreditation on this two-day in-person assessment. The certificate is an esteemed, Leiths award with recognition in the industry and can support ongoing professional development or be useful in launching careers in pastry and baking.

During the accreditation weekend, there will be a practical assessment covering both strands of the course, during which the food you cook will be assessed by Leiths teachers. You will also sit a theory exam to test a series of key techniques and skills covered over the course. With the addition of creative cookery sessions and demonstrations, this promises to be a busy and rewarding couple of days. It is also a great opportunity to work in our professional kitchens alongside fellow online students from a mix of cohorts.

Please note: this assessment is only for students who have completed the Leiths Online Essential Bread and Patisserie Course. Please do not book a place unless you have completed this course. All applications for the assessment are subject to approval by online tutors.
