Summary Food Photography Two Day Workshop

A beautiful food image is inescapable. Vivid colours catch the eye, the styling is unique and fresh, and the food looks so delicious that you want to reach into the picture with a fork!

If you'd like to create beautiful food photographs, take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn how to photograph food with food photographer Charlie Richards.

In this practical two day course Charlie will teach the techniques he uses to create beautiful food images. You will learn how to get the most out of your camera as well as tips on lighting, composition and food styling. By the end of the course you will be able to take mouth-watering photographs of food.

Charlie Richards is an independent photographer specialising in food and drink, shooting for a wide range of editorial, PR and marketing, packaging, design and advertising clients, from Waitrose to Good Housekeeping.

This course is suitable for anyone who has a digital camera and a laptop with Photoshop elements 11 or equivalent picture editing software.

What you need to bring:

  • A digital camera (or phone at a pinch!)
  • A pad and pen

Lunch

A light lunch (either a Leiths Ploughman’s or Mediterranean Mezze) will be provided each day.
