This one day course is perfect for individuals new to wine study. The WSET Level 1 qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine.
Led by Leiths 'Head of Wine', Marjorie Legendre, who teaches the WSET lectures for our professional Diploma in Food and Wine, students will explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste. They will also gain the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings.
Students will complete a multiple choice exam at the end of the class. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
