Do you ever wish that you could spend more time chatting and hosting at your own dinner parties, rather than hiding away for hours over the stove? Come and spend an inspiring day in our kitchen alongside other like-minded enthusiasts, and learn the skills and techniques to create a delicious three course meal which you can then take home to finish off and serve. Led by our expert Leiths tutors, the enticing menu is ideal for a special family dinner, a celebratory meal or simply to enjoy at home with your loved ones.

Although the menu has been structured as a three-course affair, both savoury dishes can also take centre stage as impressive meals in their own rights. The starter of Smoked Mackerel Pâté with Pickled Cucumber and Homemade Griddled Ciabatta works perfectly as an exciting midweek lunch, while the main of Lamb Rump with Ratatouille, Dauphinoise Potatoes and Salsa Verde would bring a dose of decadence to your Friday night dinner table.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to make the cherished Leiths Chocolate fondant, plated with an unctuous salted caramel sauce. You will acquire the tips and tricks to ensure the broadly sought after - and infamously challenging - succulent, gooey centre.

Your experienced tutor will guide you through the preparation of each dish, so that you’re equipped with the skills to repeat the menu whenever you wish, along with elegant presentation ideas. Once the dishes have been partially cooked, they will be carefully packed into one of our specially designed Leiths cool bags, which is yours to take home after the class. Accompanying this will be your recipe pack and comprehensive instructions for the final stages of your meal, to bring together in your own kitchen.

Please note that the menu will feed up to 4 people generously, and will change seasonally.

Leiths encourages staff and students to be as sustainable as possible. If you wish to bring your own containers on the day, please do; otherwise we are able to provide these for you. A light Leiths lunch is provided during the day and your exclusive Leiths cool bag is included in the cost of the course.

We are happy to make adjustments where possible. Some classes are however unsuitable for people with particular intolerances – where the menu would need to be completely different.
