Considering the Leiths Diploma or another Leiths professional course? Don your chef whites and join us in our professional kitchens to experience a day in the life of a student on the Diploma. Get the chance to trial the experience before booking as you learn from the same expert teachers that teach the Diploma course with the same format and pace to help decide whether it is right for you.

The day will include a morning briefing, a cooking demonstration in our student demonstration room, followed by a practical cook that will give you the chance to have a go at the professional level dish that was demonstrated to you earlier in the day, under the careful guidance of our professional teachers.

If you do book onto one of our professional courses here at Leiths, the cost of this experience is redeemable against your course fee. This will be taken off the cost of your final course invoice.

Chef jackets will be provided.

What is included:

  • Chef whites provided for experience
  • Refreshments on arrival
  • A recipe booklet
  • All ingredients provided and weighed out for you in advance
  • Lunch of your own making or sharing platters prepared by the school, both with Louis Latour wines
  • We do the washing up!

What you need to bring:

  • Flat soled shoes
  • Long trousers and a long sleeved top are advisable

We are happy to make adjustments where possible. Some classes are however unsuitable for people with particular intolerances – where the menu would need to be completely different.
