Summary Let's Cook! 2 Day Teens Cookery Toolbox

Following the success of our summer 4 day Teen Cookery Toolbox, our 2 day Teen Cookery Toolbox is a hands-on, fun-filled, practical cookery course for young foodies aged 11-17. Over the two days, budding masterchefs will tackle a range of skills and cooking techniques, and learn to make some delicious recipes to be taken home and enjoyed by all the family.

In the trusted company of our Leiths expert chefs, they will cook-up dishes like Chicken schnitzel with fried egg and potato salad, Thai fish cakes and Apple crumble cake with vanilla mascarpone. The class will also cover a host of skills from knife skills and how to butterfly a chicken breast to baking, breadmaking and how to panne and deep fry, giving them confidence in the kitchen that they will be able to bring to their own home cooking.


Day 1

Chicken schnitzel with fried egg and potato salad

Monkey bread

Chocolate mousse with raspberries

Day 2

Spatchcock poussin with hasselback potatoes and clementine roasted carrots with sesame seeds and tenderstem broccoli

Thai fish cakes with green papaya salad

Apple crumble cake with vanilla mascarpone

Please note, this is a new and updated course, so students who have attended our Teen Toolbox courses before will benefit from new skills and recipes.

What is included:

  • Refreshments on arrival
  • A recipe booklet
  • All ingredients provided and weighed out for you in advance
  • Lunch of your own making

What you need to bring:

  • Flat soled shoes
  • Long trousers and a long sleeved top are advisable

We are happy to make adjustments where possible. Some classes are however unsuitable for people with particular intolerances – where the menu would need to be completely different.
