The country may be small, but the food scene in Israel is tremendously diverse. It encompasses culinary influence from the Mediterranean, North Africa and The Middle East – bringing together wonderful flavours, textures and spices together in one place.
Join us at Leiths to celebrate this popular cuisine through an interactive day of hands-on cookery and demonstrations. Take away the skills and recipes needed to bring a little taste of Tel Aviv into your home.
Dishes you will cook on the day include:
Freekeh salad with red chicory and dried apricots
Yellow and French bean salad with capers and tarragon
Roasted salmon and tarator with spcied walnut and herb crust
Cherry, pistachio and coconut cake with orange blossom creme fraiche
Demonstration of:
Rainbow slaw with labneh
Ashtanur (Palestinian flatbreads)
