Our bespoke digital portal has been designed to support our unique range of interactive resources and enable excellent teaching and learning across our whole portfolio.

About Our Courses

We offer a wide range of Accredited and Life Skills Cookery Courses to suit your culinary curriculum. Our accredited culinary qualifications are written by Leiths and accredited by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). Our Life Skills cookery courses include a portfolio of hands-on immersive cookery learning designed by Leiths for students at school, home or in the community.

Accredited Cookery Courses

Leiths Education offers two professional culinary qualifications accredited by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). These qualifications develop core culinary skills alongside a wide range of transferable skills, from fine motor skills to organisation and timekeeping.

Life Skills Cookery Courses

If you are looking for a Key Stage 3 food and nutrition curriculum, a cookery club for enrichment or DofE skills, or a sixth-form course for part-time and gap year employment or cooking at university; Leiths life-skills cookery portfolio has something for everyone.

Key Stage 3 – Life Skills Cookery Course

Leiths Complete Curriculum KS3

Leiths has developed a brand new Key Stage 3 curriculum of innovative and inspiring food, nutrition and cookery lessons. Mapped to the national curriculum, secondary skills and knowledge framework and the core competencies for food; this flexible scheme of work interweaves structured classroom lessons with diverse and delicious recipes.

Key Stage 4 – Accredited Cookery Qualification

Leiths CTH Level 2 Certificate in Culinary Skills

A practical alternative to GCSE Food and Nutrition, this modern culinary qualification is particularly suited to students in Years 10 & 11, providing a structured pathway of learning to our Level 3 qualification. It will also help secure a wide range of weekend and holiday job opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality sector.

Key Stage 5 – Accredited Cookery Qualification

Leiths CTH Level 3 Extended Certificate in Professional Cookery

Our Level 3 Extended Certificate in Professional Cookery delivers an entirely practical curriculum with up to 36 UCAS points. It is designed for students who want to develop the knowledge and skills required for a wide range of careers as well as a lifetime love of cooking good food.

Leiths Confident Cookery

Designed to turn students into confident cooks, our ‘confident cookery’ series is designed for students who want to learn a wide range of ‘go to’ recipes and menus for a lifetime of cooking, part-time work or gap year travel.

Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 – Life Skills Cookery Courses

Leiths Co-Curricular Kitchen

This flexible cookery resource is suitable for a wide range of schools, scenarios and settings, particularly those with limited cooking facilities or a non-specialist teacher. Leiths Co-Curricular Kitchen is an innovative student led approach to practical cookery lessons, using interactive cook-a-long videos and resources on our digital portal. Suitable for cookery clubs or PSHE lessons, end of term activities, transition sessions or Duke of Edinburgh Skills.

Leiths Digital Portal

Leiths qualifications and courses sit within our interactive digital portal which has been purpose-built for Leiths. Students and teachers can access all our recipes and resources at school, home or in the community to ‘cook-a-long’ to step by step videos and practice key skills.

Students and teachers can use the portal securely via their phone, tablet or computer to record photo evidence, marks and evaluations as well as complete their coursework. A unique colour coded student tracker monitors weekly progress, which is an invaluable teacher resource for parents’ meetings and report writing.
